Abstract:
Provided is an indoor unit for an air conditioner that allows individual control of each separate blower according to the operation status of two outdoor units connected to the indoor unit and that can pass the wind generated in this way through a separate heat exchanger without any waste. This indoor unit for an air conditioner comprises: a single box casing having an air inlet and an air outlet; a partitioning plate that forms two air passages by partitioning the interior of the box casing; separate blowers that are disposed in the respective air passages and that take air into the respective air passages from the air inlet and blow air from the air outlet; and separate heat exchangers that are disposed between the respective separate blowers in the air passages and the air outlet, that constitute separate refrigerant circuits by being connected to respective outdoor units that are mutually independent, and that condition the air that is taken in.
