Abstract:
Provided is an indoor unit for an air conditioner, the indoor unit being configured so as to prevent the formation of dew on an air flow direction control plate disposed near a heat exchange block. This indoor unit for an air conditioner is provided with: a housing; a suction opening provided in the housing; a discharge opening open to the lower surface of the housing; a heat exchanger disposed in an air flow passage leading from the suction opening to the discharge opening; a fan disposed in the air flow passage at a position upstream of the heat exchanger; and an air flow direction control plate disposed at the portion of the air flow passage, which is located between the heat exchanger and the discharge opening. The heat exchanger is formed by arranging a plurality of heat exchange blocks in the front-rear direction of the housing and is provided with: refrigerant inlets through which a refrigerant flows into the heat exchanger; and refrigerant outlets through which the refrigerant flows out from the heat exchanger. The air flow direction control plate is provided close to one of the heat exchange blocks. The refrigerant outlet is provided in a heat exchange block other than the heat exchange block adjacent to which the air flow direction control plate is provided. The refrigerant outlets are provided at more locations than the refrigerant inlets.
