Abstract:
An indoor unit (2) having a number determination unit (22) and a control unit (25). The number determination unit (22) compares a first number, which is a number detected at a first timing by a detection unit (21) that detects the number of persons present in a room, and a second number, which is a number detected at a second timing after the first timing by the detection unit (21), and determines whether the second number is greater than the first number. The number determination unit (22) also determines whether the first number is at least one. When it is determined by the determination unit (22) that the second number is greater than the first number and the first number is at least one, during a heating operation after the second timing the control unit (25) controls the range of increase of the set temperature so as to be smaller than the range of increase when the first number is zero, and controls the range of increase of the rotational speed of a fan (23) so as to be smaller than the range of increase when the first number is zero.
