Abstract:

An indoor unit for a wall-mounted air conditioner comprises a housing (100), a fan (200), and an air guide plate (400). An air outlet (102) open towards the front lower direction is formed in the lower portion of the front side of the housing (100). The fan (200) is disclosed in the housing (100), and is used for driving air to be blown out from the position of the air outlet (102) in an accelerated manner, and according to the change tendency, the air speed is gradually increased first, and then is gradually decreased from a front edge (A) to a rear edge (B) of the air outlet (102). The air guide plate (400) can be rotatably disclosed at the position of the air outlet (102) along the axis extending in a transverse direction, and in the rotation range of the air guide plate (400), the air guide plate (400) is made to be located in an area between a streamline (L) of a maximum point of the speed of the air outlet (102) and the rear edge (B) of the air outlet (102) along a symmetry axis (C) extending in a transverse direction. Also provided is a method for selecting the mounting position of the air guide board (400) of the indoor unit for the wall-mounted air conditioner. By properly arranging the position of the air guide plate, the problem of the insufficiency of an air guide angle is resolved.
