Abstract:
Provided is an induction culture method for increasing intracellular astaxanthin and algae oil accumulations of Chromochloris zofingiensis. The method uses a conventional microalgae flask culture and microplate-based culture method to implement cooperative induction culture of Chromochloris zofingiensis cells under different plant hormones and high light and nitrogen-free conditions, thereby increasing the accumulation of the astaxanthin in the Chromochloris zofingiensis cells while producing algal oil.
