Abstract:
The induction electric motor rotor according to an embodiment has a rotor core, rotor slots, and conductor bars. The rotor core is provided rotatably about a rotation axis line. The rotor slots are formed close to the outer circumferential surface of the rotor core, formed passing through along the rotation axis line direction, and arranged side by side in a rotational direction. The conductor bars are inserted into the respective rotor slots. The rotor slots also have inside slots and outside slots. The inside slots have the conductor bars disposed therein. The outside slots are formed on the outside of the inside slots in the radial direction and are in communication with the inside slots. The outside slots are also formed so that the width in the rotational direction becomes gradually smaller as heading for the outside in the radial direction. In addition, the outermost side of the outside slots in the radial direction is provided with a projection projecting from the inside surface toward the inside in the radial direction.
