Abstract:
Disclosed is a 3D printer/extruder, comprising a feeding mechanism and an induction heater. The feeding mechanism is provided above the induction heater. The induction heater mainly comprises a heat insulation hood (4), an induction coil (3), an eddy current induction heating block (5) and a printing nozzle (6), wherein the heat insulation hood is formed by connecting an upper bottom wall (41) and an outer peripheral wall (42), has an opening at the lower end and is hollow; the induction coil is sheathed on the outer surface of the outer peripheral wall (42); the eddy current induction heating block is arranged in the heat insulation hood (4); the printing nozzle is connected at the lower end of the heat insulation hood (4); the eddy current induction heating block (5) is internally provided with a through hole (51) penetrating through the whole eddy current induction heating block (5); the lower end of the through hole (51) is in communication with the printing nozzle (6); and the upper end of the through hole (51) is in communication with a via hole (43) provided in the upper bottom wall (41). The 3D printer/extruder can be used for the printing of plastics and the printing of glass and metal. The 3D printer solves the problems that a common 3D printer can only be used for extruding materials with a low melting point and cannot be used for the printing of crystals without a definite melting point and metals with a relatively high melting point.
