Abstract:
The present invention relates to an induction heating double composite electrode electric resistance spot welding device. The induction heating double composite electrode electric resistance spot welding device according to the present invention is an electric resistance spot welding device performing spot welding that comprises an upper spot welding rod and a lower spot welding rod in contact with upper and lower portions of a first metal plate member and a second metal plate member that are superposed between the upper spot welding rod and the lower spot welding rod. The upper spot welding rod and the lower spot welding rod each comprise: a spot welding support rod which has a rod shape and receives a current from a first current supply unit; a spot welding electrode tip which is joined to one end portion of the spot welding support rod; an induction heating electrode tip which has a hole formed to allow the end portion of the spot welding electrode tip to be inserted therein, and is contact with the metal plate members; and an induction heating unit including an induction coil for inductively heating the induction heating electrode tip and the metal plate members by receiving a current from a second current supply unit, wherein the induction coil is located outside the induction heating electrode tip to receive the induction heating electrode tip and is disposed so as to be spaced apart from the induction heating electrode tip and the metal plate members.
