Abstract:
Provided is an induction machine, the coil of which has a high current utility factor. An induction machine 100 which has: a rotor 20; a stator 10 equipped with n coils which have a coil pitch which is substantially equivalent to a pole pitch of 2m (m is an integer) poles and are provided at a 2π/n (n is an integer of 4m or higher) phase offset; and n pairs of half-bridges comprising two switching elements connected to the plus-side power line 51 of a DC power source 50 and to the minus-side power line 52 thereof. Each coil has two lead wires, the coils are connected in series in a ring by sequentially connecting the lead wires of adjacent coils, and the connection points of the lead wires are respectively connected to the connection points of the two switching elements of the half-bridges. The induction machine is further equipped with a control circuit for switching the switching elements between conduction and non-conduction.
