Abstract:
The present invention relates to an open load detector for detecting whether a connection point between an inductive load and a drive IC is open. A technique for detecting opening of a load by detecting whether an output value of the drive IC is bigger than a voltage value of a power source when return current occurs by detecting the return current of the load is disclosed.
