Title:
INDUCTIVE ROTATIONAL SPEED SENSOR AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/126479
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The invention relates to an inductive rotational speed sensor comprising a coil body (100) with a coil (10) and connection lines (30) which extend axially or radially with respect to the coil windings; a casing (200) which is made of a plastic material and which at least partly surrounds the coil body; and fixing means (150, 160) for simplifying formation of the casing (200). The fixing means (150, 160) can comprise the following options: for radially extending connection lines (30), a punch is introduced in the axial direction between the connection lines and remains there during formation of the casing. Upon its removal, a cored-out area (160) remains in the casing (200). This allows the electrical connection lines to be fixed at a distance from one another as the casing (200) is formed. An anti-twist device (150) is provided in the form of radial projections on the coil body. On the finished sensor these projections can protrude partly out of the casing or extend at least to an outer surface of the casing. In addition, a protective sleeve can be provided having an edge that widens in a trumpet shape in order to protect the casing. A tool used in the formation of the casing can, advantageously, comprise a linearly displaceable table having at least two lower tool portions, as a result of which connection lines are less easily caught in the tool. Special barriers on bus bars (120) of the coil body can deflect the extrusion coat mass and lead it away from a wire contact (12).
