The present invention suppresses the manufacture cost of an inductor including a composite magnetic core. An inductor (L1) according to one embodiment of the present invention is provided with a first terminal (T1) and a second terminal (T2), a first inductor conductive layer (CL1) and a second inductor conductive layer (CL2), a magnetic core layer (MC1), and via conductive bodies (V11-V18). The magnetic core layer (MC1) is disposed between the first inductor conductive layer (CL1) and the second inductor conductive layer (CL2). The via conductive bodies (V11-V18) are connected to the first inductor conductive layer (CL1) and the second inductor conductive layer (CL2). The first terminal (T1) and the second terminal (T2) are electrically connected to each other via the via conductive bodies (V11-V18). The magnetic core layer (MC1) includes first magnetic material sections (MC1, MC3) having a first magnetic material, and a second magnetic material section (MC2) having a second magnetic material. The magnetic characteristics of the second magnetic material is different from those of the first magnetic material.
