Abstract:
This inductor element (1) is provided with a laminate body (10) of laminated substrate layers (11-16), and with a coil (1A) formed in the laminate body (10) having the axis of winding in the lamination direction. The laminate body (10) includes a thin section (10B) positioned towards one end in the lamination direction, and a thick section (10A) having more substrate layers than the thin section (10B). The coil (1A) is formed in the thick section (10A). One end of the coil (1A) positioned towards the one side of the laminate body (10) is connected to a conductor pattern (15B) formed in the thin section (10B), and the other end of the coil (1A) positioned towards the other side of the laminate body (10) is connected to a conductor pattern (11A) formed in the substrate layer (11) disposed on the other end of the laminate body (10). The conductor patterns (11A, 15B) are arranged in different positions in the lamination direction. Thus, an inductor element and electronic device are provided which can decrease the power loss by suppressing eddy currents.
