Abstract:
The present invention relates to an inductor having a cellular structure. According to the present invention, in the inductor having a cellular structure, in which a plurality of unit cells having a spiral shape and being made of a metal wire are connected to each other in series, the unit cell includes a first terminal disposed outside the metal wire and a second terminal disposed inside the metal wire. The first terminal is connected to a third terminal disposed outside a first side unit cell adjacent to the first terminal, and the second terminal is connected to a fourth terminal disposed inside a second side unit cell adjacent to the second terminal. According to the inductor having a cellular structure, the inductor unit cells having the spiral structure are connected to each other in series. Also, current flowing into the metal wires adjacent to each other flow in the same direction so as to minimize the physical intensity of the inductor and increase the inductance therebetween. Thus, the inductor may be manufactured to have a small size and increase the utilization of space thereof. Also, a desired number of inductor unit cell structures may be additionally connected together so as to achieve a desired inductance.
