Abstract:
An inductor (100) comprises a magnetic core (10) and a coil element (20) which is composed of a rectangular wire. The coil element (20) includes a wound coil portion (21), and a first lead-out portion (22) which is connected to the coil portion (21) and to one (first end portion (25)) of two end portions. The first lead-out portion (22) is provided with two or more bend portions (31) in which the extending direction of the rectangular wire is bent, each of the two or more bend portions (31) having a valley (32) in a surface of the rectangular wire. Of the two or more bend portions (31), the bend portion (31) closest to the coil portion (21) is formed with a notch structure (33) which is recessed toward the inside of the rectangular wire in the valley (32). The notch structure (33) is recessed along a direction with an angle greater than or equal to 45 degrees. The recess depth on one end side of the valley (32) closer to the winding axis (B) of the coil portion (21) is greater than the recess depth on the other side of the farther valley (32).
