A propulsion system includes a first plurality of rotor blades configured to rotate about an engine longitudinal axis and a motor module. The motor module includes a plurality of electric motors for rotating the first plurality of rotor blades. The propulsion system can further include a dual power turbine including a first power turbine module and a second power turbine module.
