Abstract:
The problem to be solved by the present invention is to disclose a specific evaporation apparatus, wherein a liquid containing a substance having a boiling point lower than that of said liquid is allowed to fall along the outer surface of a guide and said substance having a lower boiling point is evaporated during the above fall, wherein the apparatus has such a industrial scale that the amount of said liquid to be subjected to the evaporation treatment is 1 ton or more per hour, wherein the apparatus can be operated stably for a long period of time, and wherein the apparatus is free from the problems originated from the change of properties of a product due to the long term residence of a part of said liquid. The present invention has solved the above problem, and has found that a concentrated liquid, a condensation polymer or a thermoplastic polymer having high quality or a high purity can be produced with ease.
