Abstract:

Provided is an industrial machine that can appropriately know a water expulsion time period in a water separation device without adding new members in the water separation device. The industrial machine comprises: a supply pipe for supplying fuel from a fuel tank to an engine; a water separation device (10) for separating fuel (18) flowing through the supply pipe and water (17) contained in the fuel (18), the water separation device (10) being formed in a part of the supply pipe; a water level detection device (11) for detecting the height of the water (17) separated by the water separation device (10); notification means for notifying of when the height of the water (17) detected by the water level detection device (11) has reached a predetermined height; operation assessment means for assessing whether or not a hydraulic shovel (1) is operating; and notification control means for performing control which inactivates the notification function of the notification means when the hydraulic shovel (1) is assessed to be operating by the operation assessment means, and activates the notification function of the notification means when the hydraulic shovel (1) is assessed to be not operating by the operation assessment means.
