Abstract:
Inexpensive industrial salt is provided without the need of electrical dialysis, crystallization, etc. by reducing the amount of a chemical to be used and reducing equipment cost and operation cost. The industrial salt (S) is obtained by bleeding part of a combustion gas from a kiln discharge passage extending from the end (12b) of a cement kiln (12) to a lowermost-stage cyclone (13), water-washing the dust (D) contained in the bleed gas (G2), and drying, in a gas stream, a filtrate (L1) obtained after the water washing. Industrial salt can be obtained by removing calcium ingredients from the filtrate and drying, in a gas stream, the filtrate from which the calcium ingredients have been removed. Furthermore, industrial salt can be obtained by removing sulfuric acid radicals from the filtrate and drying, in a gas stream, the filtrate from which the sulfuric acid radicals have been removed. The drying can be conducted with a spray drier (43) using a gas discharged from a clinker cooler (12a). Through the drying in a gas stream, industrial salt having a particle diameter of 20-500 µm can be obtained.
