Abstract:
A forklift 1 comprises a downstream exhaust pipe 11 that releases exhaust gas from an engine 5 into the atmosphere. The downstream exhaust pipe 11 includes a tailpipe 14 extending in a vehicle width direction of a vehicle body 2. A cover part 17 that covers an opening in the tailpipe 14 is provided at a tip end of the tailpipe 14. A first exhaust port 18, which discharges the exhaust gas toward a rear of the vehicle body 2, and a second exhaust port 19, which discharges the exhaust gas toward the rear of the vehicle body 2 from a part closer to the tip side of the tail pipe 14 than the first exhaust port 18, are provided in a circumferential surface part 14a of the tailpipe 14. The first exhaust port 18 and the second exhaust port 19 are disposed in an area where cooling air flows. A diaphragm part 20 that changes a flow path area for the exhaust gas is disposed in the tailpipe 14 between the first exhaust port 18 and the second exhaust port 19.
