Abstract:
The invention discloses an inertia-rotary axially braking mechanism for gardens tool, which is composed of a work shaft used for mounting knives, a driven wheel, a housing and a braking piece, the work shaft used for mounting the knives is rotatably coupled to the housing, the braking piece is provided on the housing, the work shaft is threadly coupled to the driven wheel, a protrusion is disposed on the outside of the driven wheel, a pushing member is fixed on the work shaft, and a plane in which the pushing member can b˜ rotated lies in the range of the height of the protrusion. According to the invention, after the power being cut off, the inertial difference caused between the work shaft and rotary members (the knives etc.) on the shaft and the driven wheel allows the driven shaft to rotate relative to the work shaft, thereby permitting the driven wheel to axially move, until the inner side of the driven wheel contacts and acts on the braking piece firmed on the housing. Accordingly, the requirement to material of the respective parts can be reduced, so the invention can provide advantages of the low cost, the simple construction, the high braking-reliability, the satisfied standard requirement and easy maintenance.
