Abstract:
Disclosed are an inertia switch and a manufacturing method thereof and an airbag sensor of a vehicle and a fuse of a shell using an inertia switch. The inertia switch includes a substrate, a pair of electrodes, a container, a ball, and a flexible door. The substrate has a surface, a first direction, and a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. The pair of electrodes is arranged in a predetermined interval along the second direction to be disconnected electronically from the surface of the substrate. The container is arranged along the first direction on the surface of the substrate and has a channel formed along the first direction from the pair of electrodes. The channel has a first region separated from the pair of electrodes and a second region in which the pair of electrodes is arranged. The ball is stored in the channel so as to be moved along the channel from the first region to the second region and changes the capacitance between the pair of electrodes when being arranged in the interval. The flexible door is arranged in the channel so as to control the movement of the ball from the first region to the second region and releases the control for the ball when being moved from the first region to the second region by the inertia of the ball.
