Abstract:
An inertial filter to be placed in a fluid flow path, which is equipped with a particle-classifying sheet having multiple particle-classifying holes that are uniformly arranged. The particle-classifying sheet has a sheet area larger than the fluid passing area at the site where the sheet is placed. In order to attain particle classification, the particle-classifying sheet is placed in a partition-like state in such a manner that a part of the sheet divides the fluid flow path into two sections in the fluid passing direction.
