Abstract:
In order to provide an inertial force detection device exhibiting improved reliability, an inertial force detection device that comprises a vibrating body that is capable of displacement in a first direction and a second direction that are perpendicular to each other and that, when the vibrating body is made to vibrate in the first direction, detects the displacement amount when the occurrence of angular velocity causes the vibrating body to be displaced in the second direction as angular velocity is configured, for example, from a digital signal processing means, a means for detecting a failure in the register unit and the calculation unit of the digital signal processing means, and a means for outputting the failure detection result to the outside.
