Abstract:
An inertial force sensor is provided with a sensor element that converts inertial force into an electrical signal, a sensor signal processing unit that is connected to the sensor element and that outputs an inertial force value, and a power control unit that controls the supply of electric power to the sensor signal processing unit on the basis of the inertial force value. If the inertial force value rests for a predetermined length of time within a predetermined range having a reference value as the middle value thereof, the power control unit reduces the supply of electric power to the sensor signal processing unit and updates the reference value to the inertial force value of the moment at which the predetermined length of time elapsed.
