Abstract:
An inference-making device 10 includes: a generation unit 11 that, on the basis of a first observation literal included in a first observation Boolean expression expressing an observed fact with a Boolean expression, adds to the first observation Boolean expression a second observation literal expressing a numerical relationship of the first observation literal, generates a second observation Boolean expression, and adds same to the first observation Boolean expression; and a hypothesis inference unit 12 that performs hypothesis inference by applying inference knowledge having a plurality of rules expressed by Boolean expressions to the generated first observation Boolean expression and the generated second observation Boolean expression.
