Abstract:
A presence/absence inference system (100) comprises: a plurality of slave devices (110) which wirelessly and periodically transmit signals; a plurality of receivers (120) which perform a reception process for receiving signals and a detection process for detecting the slave devices (110); and a management device (130). When a slave device (110) has transitioned to a detectable state, each receiver (120) transmits, to the management device (130), appearance information indicating the slave device (110) that has transitioned to the detectable state; when each slave device (110) has transitioned to an undetectable state, each receiver (120) transmits, to the management device (130), disappearance information indicating the slave device (110) that has transitioned to the undetectable state; and the management device (130) receives the appearance information and the disappearance information and infers whether or not each slave device (110) is present in an area (200).
