Abstract:
Modular inflatable and stackable "All in one" stroller in modern inflatable materials that allows in very little space: - to become a complete stroller with all due to rapid inflation from electric integrated pumps; - to be stored one over another in car or house; - to become a baby car seat quickly; - to become high chair removing the wheels and replacing them with rubber foots (all plugged in the same body carrier); - to become a multi stroller for twins or more brothers.

CLAIMS

Inflatable modular and stackable Baby Stroller extremely compact provided with a single rigid frame (Fig. l) with a size of about 0,45x0,50 m side and high about 0,15 m and a total weight of no more than 6000 g in one or more plastic materials characterized by a high breaking load, a low density, an excellent heat resistance and good abrasion resistance such as rigid PVC or Polypropylene in use already for the bases of car seats or in polymer materials in general as well as polymer composites and in any case in an approved material and tested for this type of use, comprising a single inflatable structure PVC or other approved material which forms the seat, the backrest and the footrest (Fig.9-Fig.10), one or more electric pumps powered by rechargeable batteries at 12V integrated into the frame together with the relative sealing valves and of the exhaust air, that can be loaded via the cigarette lighter socket or through a transformer from home (Fig. l_l;Fig.17_30), a structure in telescopic extendable aluminum tubulars or a light alloy housed inside the hollow base of the rigid frame comprising wheels (Fig.2, Fig.13), two armrests in telescopic extendable aluminum or other light alloy tubulars contained within two housings formed on the side top of the frame (Fig.2_3; Fig.12_18), a plastic structure extensible pulldown or completely flat ( Fig.2_5; Fig.5_ll) flowing along two slots formed within the two superior armrests (Fig.5_l l) which allows the closure and protection of the inflatable part when it is closed and stored into the appropriated bay and allows the stroller storage in a stacked manner (Fig.4;Fig.7;Fig.8) or the support to the inflatable back of the stroller inflated and open (Fig.2_5;Fig.5_ll;Fig. l2_18), two ISOFIX hooks seats (Fig.3_6) to the lower end of the main platform which can be bound to the rear seats of a car when the lower aluminum tubulars structure is closed and allow the use of the stroller in the form of a baby car seat, the integrated rubber feet (Fig.15) that can easily replace all integrated wheels that allow the use of the stroller in the form of portable baby chair when this is completely opened. Stroller as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the inflatable structure (Fig.9,Fig. lO,Fig. ll) is one or more materials usually used for the furnishings inflatable such as PVC, UV-resistant, nonflammable, puncture-proof and with surface protection vinyl or with suitable layers of insulating material as may be the felt and NOMEX-KEVLAR associated with breathable fabrics (Fig. l l_13-14- 15-16), as well as the Drop Stitch Fabric (PVC with polyester filaments) or also the Polyurethane of the modern inflatable seats of the airplane and already widely tested and meets the most stringent safety requirements, is internally implanted along the four sides in the base of the upper hollow platform through one or more fastening methods such as heat sealing, gluing or hot weaving or RF welding inside the rigid frame (Fig.9_12) and is connected to one or more 12V electric pumps integrated in the platform and powered by rechargeable batteries at 12V that allow its quick inflation and deflation of the structure together with the relative seal and air release valves chargeable via the cigarette lighter in the car or from home and be activated from the main control panel located on the rear of the main deck (Fig. l_l;Fig 17_30); in addition to the main inflatable cells which include the seat the backrest and the footrest it is provided at least two other suitable combinations of groups of inflatable cells, one for the canopy in case of rain and one for the container within which the child can insert the legs in winter, optionally activated by a manual switch in the control panel of the electric pump integrated.

Stroller as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the principal rigid frame contains within the hollow base the structure in telescopic extendable aluminum tubulars (Fig.2_4; Fig.13; Fig. 14) with button joints (like those of common crutches adjustable in height) pivoted to two steel rods which slide along two tracks that run longitudinally to the frame and allowing the sliding and the block of the two telescopic rods retractable from which extend telescopically legs of the pushchair and to which are pivoted the four wheels ( always through button joints ); the braking of the pushchair is achieved by a single brake bar (Fig. l4_24) that allows in a single movement the block of both rear wheels ; methods to support the stroller through the aluminum frame with wheels may be different but everyone has to be extremely compact to allow the complete disappearance within the hollow base of the main platform and maintain the proper balance of power when the child is placed at his internal.

Stroller as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the rigid frame contains the two armrests housed in the telescopic extendable aluminum tubular or other light alloy contained inside two receptacles formed from the upper part of the frame (Fig. l2_17_18) and pivoted to the base by two hinges that allow rotation and the subsequent elongation; such hinges are shaped in a suitable manner (Fig. l6_26) to allow, during the counterclockwise rotation for opening, the sliding forward of two rods of 1000 or 2000 g each (Fig.l6_27), accommodated internally in two opposite longitudinal rails; the two rods are pivoted to two springs (Fig. l6_29) that keep them always in tension and bring them back in the starting positions; the rotation of the two arms can also activate the electric pumps and inflating the stroller in an automatic manner ; the two rods allow the balancing of the force moment (Fig.18_33) produced by the weight of the child back on the backrest inflatable (Fig.19); the two handles of the two armrests can rotate completely through the joints button that allow the positioning of each of the two to 360°; the two handles can be also replaced with a single handle that through the relative button joints can be adjusted in height and rotated to allow also the fastening of the same to the headrest of the rear passenger car to allow the use of the compact stroller as a baby seat car cited in claim 6.

5. Stroller as claimed in claim 4, characterized in that the two armrests aluminum extensible have internal slots within which flows and extends to drop down (or completely flat ) a rigid plastic support, hinged along the upper side of the face that contains the control panel of the electric pumps , which allows protection of the inflatable structure when the stroller is closed and deflated and allows the storage of the stroller in a stacked manner (Fig.7;Fig.8) (a platform on top of another ) or transport of the stroller in compact form as a backpack using the child restraint belts brought outside and when the stroller is open provides instead the rigid support necessary to sustain the inflatable back (Fig.2_5).

6. Stroller as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the rigid frame, when the lower tubular structure is completely closed, through the ISOFIX hooks (Fig.3_6) allows the accommodation of the platform in the car and through the inflation of the main cells, the transformation of the stroller in a modern car seat also connectable to the car through the seat belts integrated into the main structure (Fig.3_9) also fixed thanks to the upper single handle that goes to embrace the rear passenger headrest (Fig.3_7).

7. Stroller as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that two adjacent rigid frames may be committed and stuck along two opposite sides (Fig.5_10) and allow the use of the inflatable and stackable stroller as a multi-stroller for twins or more brothers (Fig.6).

8. Stroller as claimed in claim 3, characterized in that the four wheels are replaceable with 4 rubber feet (contained within the rigid platform in suitable housings screw) simply disassembling the joints button of the wheels and entering the joints button present in the legs, transforming so the stroller into a comfortable portable highchair (Fig.15).

Description:
INFLATABLE AND STACKABLE MODULAR STROLLER

TECHNICAL FIELD

The field of invention refers to ultralight and ultra-compact stroller and car seats suitable for children from 6 months to 4 years about up to 3000g weight approx. More in particular the invention concerns a stroller "all in one" which comprises, an unique principal body made in hard plastic materials as the PVC or other rigid material already approved for this type of use with high breaking load, low density, resilient, abrasion resistant and non-inflammable as well as for example the polypropylene or polymers in general or composite polymers, the whole structure on which will accommodate the child (including one sitting, one backrest with headrest and one footrest) in inflatable material, like inflatable PVC or other material already known and already approved for these types of use as the material that is used for the modern inflatable furniture or the drop stitch fabric (PVC with filament polyester) or polyurethane used in modern inflatable aircraft seats and already fully tested and respondent for more severe safety criteria used both in internal and external that through one or more electric pumps integrated in the principal platform allow the fast inflation and deflation of the sitting, backrest and footrest of the stroller and through the elongation of landing in tubular aluminum alloy or other light alloy, integrated and fully contained inside the main platform rigid, and through the extension of the wheels, allows the full opening of the stroller. BACKGROUND ART

With this stroller ultralight and ultra-compact inflatable stroller you want to remove the maximum the space that usually is due to a standard stroller even if closed with minimum size as those currently using closures "ad umbrella" - pat. No. Us20140091560 a l.

This stroller in fact is formed by a platform rigid PVC (or other material type that used for the base of baby car seats ) big as a sitting (0,50x0,45 m approximately) and about 0,15 m high, allowing, helped by one or more electric pumps incorporated along the back side of the platform, the rapid inflation (and deflation) of the seat of the backrest (fold) and of the footrest and the possible inflation of accessories as the container for the legs in winter or the roof, so make the all, once bellied, totally due to a real stroller for children.

The total weight of the stroller that willing to be an ultralight stroller will then not exceed 6000g.

The principal platform when closed is reduced in a rigid base that can be easily stacked in car (one on the other ) or home and may be carried as a simple backpack.

In addition a difference between conventional car seats or a difference between that is "inflatable" - pat. No. Us20130285420 a l (latter abandoned in date 05.01.2015 because no reply has been received from united states patent office by applicant) - this stroller is modular and allows the transformation of a single platform as both a baby stroller a baby car seat and as a baby high chair (replacing wheels of feet included in the same platform) and thus allows the use that is suitable for different needs.

This invention is totally new even with respect to the models that declare their modularity and are used as both a stroller a car seat and as an high chair as the mentioned patents referred to the research report, pat. No. De 202010003883ul and pat. No. Us 2015/130149al that instead in order to move from one to another method should necessarily be equipped with other outside structures so that not solve the problem the convenience of transport but instead complicate compelling to bring with itself other necessary structures to transform an element in another.

Other purposes and advantages of this invention will be evident proceed with the description that is purely descriptive and not limited.

For shortness, some features notes, methods, systems, procedures, components, circuits and so on, are not described in detail.

DISCLOSURE OF INVENTION

This invention involves a modular inflatable ultra-compact stroller and allowing , once closed , the minimum size possible in a single rigid platform that may become, depending on the situation, a baby stroller a baby car seat and a baby high chair.

The hard platform contains on the top of frame implanted to the four sides of the base by thermos welding bound or through appropriate glue or through other techniques authorized for such use as welding in radio frequency, the set of inflatable cells that includes in one unique inflatable body the seat, the backrest and footrest, in PVC or other material resistant to UV rays, non-flammable, puncture proof with surface protection in vinyl or for example through appropriate layers of insulation and protective material like the NOMEX/KEVLAR associated with breathable fabrics that allows to achieve the maximum comfort for a child find in contact with these areas, that is inflatable through one or more electric pumps associated with appropriate seal air valve incorporated in the rear and powered by rechargeable batteries at 12V from car cigarette lighter and from home through appropriate transformer.

You can think of achieving the inflation and deflation of main blower cells or through an external switch or through a breaker that turns over when the two superior arms are extended and deflated structure when these are stored.

The bottom of platform is pit and contains the entire bearing structure formed by telescopic tube extensible ( in aluminum alloy or other light alloy ) and wheels that properly extended allows to the stroller to be fully open.

At the foot of the facility once extended may be incorporated :

- wheels when using as a stroller;

- rubber feet in case of use as chair.

Leaving the structure closed inside the base, the platform is sticking with ISOFIX hooks directly by car then inflate PVC and transform the platform in baby car seat. Together with the ISOFIX hooks the structure may be engaged in top just by turning the upper handle so that it embraces the passenger seat head restraint.

The possibility of quick deflation of the stroller and the immediate closing for the structure allows such element to be easily stackable ( over one another ) limiting the maximum the overall total. Also two adjacent platforms associated through hinges or clamped on one adjacent side may allow the use of the stroller for twins or more brothers.

The inflatable and chair stroller can be integrated in its inflatable structure with other appropriate combination.

The manual switch of the electric pump place outside in correspondence of the panel allows the inflation of the primary group of cells which includes the seat , the backrest and footrest and the inflation of at least others two groups of inflatable cells (accessories), one for the roof in case of rain and an inflatable container for within which the child can put his legs in winter. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS

BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION

Main rigid platform contains on the top and implanted along the 4 sides, via thermos welding or bound through appropriate glue or other methods approved for such type of materials as the RF welding, inside the frame, the seat in inflatable PVC or other inflatable material that is inflated through one or more pumps integrated and permits the opening and carried also back and leg. When deflated these last two extensions fold as a book on sitting and deflated compacts totally the part on the top of the stroller that thus is protected by plastic shutter curtain sliding along the two arms stocked in appropriate accommodations or completely flat as that shown in the figures. Main rigid platform contains in the quarry bed frame tubular telescopic stretchable driven two long track racing longitudinally the same frame and that allow the slide and the block of two arms in league in turn linked with pins for two telescopic tubular extensible (hidden auctions) commonly stuck together from a central pin fixed at the same platform rigid. The two doors concealed telescopically extend the legs of the stroller to which are engaged with connections button the four wheels.

The two rear wheels allow the brakes through the stroller brake bar that connect and allowing in one move the block of both wheels.

Main rigid platform contains at the base of the top a plastic support stretch to wipe " shutter " or completely flat that allows, when arms are lower, cap and closing the structure in inflatable PVC , and instead , when arms are open and extended mount tilt on which the leaning inflatable back of the stroller .

The wipe structure or flat is bound and sliding along the two arms they also in tubular telescopic extensible (hidden auctions) in aluminum and bound and driven to the base of the platform. The latter ( arms ) are committed to the base of the platform with forms properly formed that allow once open and rotated , sliding within two tracks within the frame of rigid rods two full steel of about 1000/2000g the one, the diameter of approximately 0,02 m and length of approximately 0, 15 m , used to balance the product time force from bust baby on the inflatable back.

The primary materials used in manufacturing this inflatable and stackable baby stroller are PVC or polypropylene or polymers in general as well as composite polymers for the frame realized in injection molding, inflatable PVC or other material already known and already approved for these types of use as the material that is used for the modern inflatable furniture or the drop stitch fabric (PVC with filament polyester) or polyurethane film (e.g. Polyurethane tubing built in catia v5, to fit desired shape and product in rf welded) with surface protection made of vinyl and/or layers of nomex of kevlar and cloth for the seat, the backrest and the footrest, aluminum or steel for the telescopic auctions of the handles and the bearing structure ( this completely hideaway inside the frame ) and rubber and plastic ( PVC or other ) for handles for the two rigid upper and lower support and closing and wheels.
