Abstract:
An inflator having a motor fixing ring comprises a housing (1), a core (2) disposed inside the housing (1), and a driving motor (3). The driving motor (3) is used to drive the core (2) to inflate an outside article. Also comprised is a motor fixing ring (4). The motor fixing ring (4) is sleeved on the outside of the driving motor (3), and is held between the driving motor (3) and the housing (1). An air gap is provided between an outer surface of the driving motor (3) and an inner surface of the housing (1). When manufacturing the inflator, the motor fixing ring (4) is first sleeved on the outside of the driving motor (3), and then the driving motor (3), together with the motor fixing ring (4), is disposed inside the housing (1), such that the motor fixing ring (4) is held between the driving motor (3) and the housing (1). When using the inflator, a cooling fan of the inflator drives air to flow along the air gap between the outer surface of the driving motor (3) and the inner surface of the housing (1), and accordingly carries away heat released by the driving motor, so as to improve heat dissipation efficiency of the driving motor, and to improve performance of the inflator during use.
