Abstract:
The present invention enables an analysis result to be used as a factor to be considered when making even important decisions, by presenting a user with information strongly related to a search query, together with evidence therefor. This information analysis system is provided with: a reception unit which receives an input of information to be analyzed and an analysis type indicating the type of the information; a relation information generation unit which, on the basis of relational analysis information indicating a relationship between one piece of information and another piece of information among a plurality of pieces of information included in an information source, generates structured information in which nodes representing the one and the other pieces of information in a graph structure, and an edge indicating a relationship between the nodes, are defined; a source information search unit which extracts, from the structured information, information including the analysis type received by the reception unit, and which outputs the extracted information as a starting point node; a classification reachability analysis unit which clusters a graph structure expressed by the extracted information and extracts a partial graph structure including the starting point node; and a connectivity analysis unit which searches the partial graph structure for nodes to be extracted, each of which provides an end point for the starting point node corresponding to the analysis type, calculates the number of independent paths between the starting point node and each node to be extracted, and outputs the node to be extracted that has the largest number of independent paths, as the node most strongly related to the starting point node.
