Abstract:
An information communication device for a vehicle, said vehicle being capable of autonomous driving during which the vehicle controls speed and direction of travel along a set driving route, wherein prior to performing an information communication unit process (S5), in which an information communication unit communicates information to an occupant of the vehicle, an information categorization unit process (S2) is performed, in which an information categorization unit categorizes the information that the information communication unit will attempt to communicate, and, depending on (S3) the categorization results from the information categorization unit, a blocking unit process (S4) is also performed, in which a blocking unit performs a process to block occupant actions other than driving (i.e. secondary tasks).
