This information device comprises: an imaging unit (11) that captures an image of a face and an image of a partner device; a face authentication unit (12) that compares the image of the face captured by the imaging unit (11) with pre-registered faces; a device authentication unit (13) that compares identification information for the partner device transmitted from the partner device with identification information for the partner device, which is contained in the image of the partner device captured by the imaging unit (11); and a control unit (14) that registers the partner device as a partner device on the basis of the comparison results in the face authentication unit (12) and the device authentication unit (13).
