Abstract:
This information display device (170) enables information relating to a video object to be easily obtained, and is equipped with: a related information acquisition unit (306) for obtaining related information for an object displayed on a video display screen of a video display device which is outside the information display unit (170), the related information including position information indicating a first position of the object on the video display screen, and object information indicating attribute information for the object; a display unit (309) for displaying the object information contained in the related information obtained by the related information acquisition unit (306); and a display control unit (307A) for controlling the display unit (309) such that the object information is displayed on the display unit (309) at a second position corresponding to the first position indicated by the position information contained in the related information in conjunction with the display of the object on the video display screen.
