A storage unit stores reference image data indicating a reference image which includes character information, translation image data indicating a translation image which includes translation character information which is a translation of the character information, and character position information indicating a correspondence relationship between a reference point within a reference character range in which the character information upon the reference image exists and a reference point within a translation character range in which the translation character information upon the translation image exists. A matching unit matches captured image data with the reference image data in order to determine whether or not the character information is included within the captured image indicated by the captured image data. If the character information is included within the captured image, a control unit links the reference points of the reference character range and the translation character range on the basis of the character position information and displays the reference image and the translation image.
