An information display method and device for an intelligent panel, which relate to the technical field of intelligent control. The method comprises: receiving distance information, which is acquired by a distance detection device, about an approaching object close to the intelligent panel (S110); judging whether there is an approaching object within a first predetermined distance range of the intelligent panel according to the distance information, and if so, controlling the display interface so same displays current environmental state information (S120); and judging whether there is an approaching object within a second predetermined distance range of the intelligent panel according to the distance information, and if so, controlling the display interface so same displays prompt information related to each intelligent key (S130), wherein the distance from the second predetermined distance range to the intelligent panel is less than that from the first predetermined distance range to the intelligent panel. When there are approaching objects within different distance ranges of an intelligent panel, the intelligent panel displays different content, and the display content is more diversified and more intelligent.
