Abstract:
Provided is an information display system with which a useful image relating to a planned alighting station can be provided to a passenger planning to alight without requiring any operation from the passenger. Each time an information reception unit (11) receives, in association with a control signal sent from a control unit (13), a signal indicating departure, a rendering unit (15): selects, on the basis of a station content list, a piece of second content corresponding to a subsequent planned stopping station from a plurality of pieces of second content stored in a second content storage unit (123); executes, on a display unit (16), a second display displaying an image based on the selected piece of second content; and, when the distance from the travel location information of a train to the next planned stopping station is within a distance decided in advance, executes, on the display unit (16), a first display displaying an image based on a first piece of content.
