Abstract:
An information display for displaying information such as an image by sealing a display medium (particles or powdery fluid) in the space between opposed substrates at least one of which is transparent, applying an electric field to the display medium (the particles or powdery fluid), and moving the display medium (the particles or powdery fluid). The information display includes a sealing material arrangement section where the space between the two substrates at least one of which is flexible like resin is sealed by a sealing material, and a spacer is provided at least on one substrate. Therefore, an adequate gas endurable to high-voltage application is ensured, and breakage of a panel for information display can be preferably prevented.
