Abstract:

In the present invention, when a server receives configuration information pertaining to vehicle-mounted terminal software and/or configuration information pertaining to vehicle software from a vehicle-mounted terminal, a communication terminal, or a vehicle communication device serving as communication counterparts of the server and information transmission sources, the server uses the received information and identification information for identifying a communication line used by the information transmission source to accordingly generate: software to be distributed, which includes update information for the vehicle software or update information for the vehicle-mounted terminal software and is to be distributed to the information transmission source serving as the communication counterpart; and an update list for the vehicle software and/or an update list for the vehicle-mounted terminal software, which is information other than the software to be distributed. Then, the server transmits the generated software to be distributed and the update list for the vehicle software and/or the update list for the vehicle-mounted terminal software to the information transmission source.
