Abstract:
Provided is an information input device (1) comprising an operation detection unit (112), a display unit (111), an action mode switching unit (124), an operation region information notification unit (125b), and an information input unit (123). The operation detection unit (112) detects an operation on a display screen. The display unit (111) has, in a display region of the display screen, an action mode switching operation region for performing a switching operation between a first action mode and a second action mode and an input operation region for performing an information input operation. The action mode switching unit (124) switches the host device to the second action mode when a long-press operation is detected in the action mode switching operation region. The operation region information notification unit (125b) outputs notification information when an operation is detected in the input operation region while in the second action mode. On detecting an operation in the input operation region while in the first action mode, the information input unit (123) inputs the information.
