The present invention relates to an information management system for construction project information management automation, and a construction project information management method using a chat platform, the system and the method allowing a chat bot (12) to recognize a preset construction information keyword from a chat message and extract and store construction information data, and thus construction project information is automatically managed. According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, provided, as a method by which an information management system (1) for construction project information management automation using a chat platform (20) automatically manages construction project information by using the chat bot (12) participating in a chat room (22), is the construction project information management method using a chat platform, comprising the steps of: a) recognizing a preset construction information keyword from a chat message inputted to the chat room (22); b) extracting inputted construction information data related to the recognized construction information keyword; and c) classifying and storing the extracted construction information data on the basis of the construction information keyword.
