Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to enable an immediate use of a replacement image forming apparatus. In response to an instruction to start backing up data stored in an HDD (106) and an EEPROM (116), a system control unit (121) of an MFP (100A) transmits the data to an information management server (300). In response to an instruction to start setting, a system control unit (121) of a MFP (100B) requests the information management server (300) to download data including a storage capacity of the HDD (106) and the EEPROM (116). A system control unit (316) of the information management server (300) stores the data from the MFP (100A) in an HDD (302), reads data corresponding to the storage capacity of the HDD (106) and the EEPROM (116) from the HDD (302), and transmits the read data to the MFP (100B).
