Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an information notification system that notifies a user of information by a simple method and is capable of handling cases where multiple kinds of information are involved. The information notification system includes a robot (50) that executes a notified operation appropriate for data received by a home server (10), that is, either measurement result data which represent information in accordance with a measurement result of the amount of energy consumption at home (H) or information data which are supplied from a CEMS server (40). The robot (50) has: a light-emitting mechanism (51) that executes a light-emitting operation to emit light in a light emission pattern appropriate for the received data; a sound-generating mechanism (52) that executes a sound-generating operation to generate a sound appropriate for the received data; a vibratory mechanism (53) that executes a vibratory operation to generate vibrations appropriate for the received data; and a controller (54) that, upon receiving a notified operation execution request from the home server (10), causes at least one operation, which is determined from among the light-emitting operation, the sound-generating operation and the vibratory operation according to the execution request, to be executed as the notified operation.
