Title:
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, CONTROL METHODS THEREOF, AND PROGRAM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/199522
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is an image forming technology by which the texture of an object can be more accurately reproduced. An information processing apparatus that generates a signal value for forming an image of an object on a recording medium as a recording layer comprises: first input means for inputting a characteristic of mirror reflection light which is a reflection light component in a mirror reflection direction with regard to a surface of the object; second input means for inputting a characteristic of internal diffusion reflection light which is a reflection light component that has been subjected to diffusion or absorption inside the object; third input means for inputting a characteristic of skin diffusion reflection light which is a reflection light component diffused at the surface of the object; first deriving means for deriving a first signal value for a first recording layer formed on the recording medium, on the basis of the characteristic of the internal diffusion reflection light; and second deriving means for deriving a second signal value for a second recording layer different from the first recording layer formed on the recording medium, on the basis of the characteristic of the mirror reflection light and the characteristic of the skin diffusion reflection light.
