[Problem] To cause a formed atmosphere to reflect user's preferences or actions in synchronization with presentation of the information of a content accessed by the user, thereby enabling the user to more comfortably enjoy the content. [Solution] An information processing apparatus comprises a control unit that controls atmosphere forming devices in such a manner that forms an atmosphere reflecting user's preferences or actions in synchronization with presentation of the information of a content accessed by the user, said atmosphere using stimuli different from the presentation of the information and perceivable to the user.
