Abstract:
The present invention relates to an information processing apparatus, an information processing method, and a program, whereby calibration precision can be enhanced. In the present invention, a plurality of characteristic points based on a pattern in a first pattern imaging image obtained by capture of an image of a calibration pattern by a first imaging device, and a plurality of characteristic points based on a pattern in a second pattern imaging image obtained by capture of the calibration pattern by a second imaging device are detected, and calibration of the first imaging device and the second imaging device is performed using the plurality of characteristic points detected from the first pattern imaging image and the plurality of characteristic points detected from the second pattern imaging image. At this time, the calibration pattern is constituted from a first pattern in which a plurality of first figures are arranged, and a second pattern in which a plurality of second figures having a different size than the first figures are arranged. The present invention can be applied in an imaging system which uses a plurality of imaging device, for example.
