Abstract:
The objective of the invention is to allow an application using wireless communications to be appropriately executed. An information processing apparatus comprises an acquisition unit and a control unit. The acquisition unit acquires user operations or information related to requests from other information processing apparatuses. The control unit performs, in accordance with the information acquired by the acquisition unit, a control for transmitting/receiving capability information to/from the other information processing apparatuses via wireless communications. The control unit also performs a control for determining, on the basis of the capability information, an application group leader when an application to be executed by a group including the local information processing apparatus and the other information processing apparatuses is executed.
