An information processing apparatus, which can transmit information to a remote maintenance center, is so configured as to transmit virtual domain arrangement information, which indicates the arrangement of a plurality of virtual domains formed in the information processing apparatus, and a virtual domain arrangement event to the remote maintenance center and to transmit information of periodic connection events, which includes a next periodic connection time of each virtual domain, and a periodic connection event to the remote maintenance center.
