Abstract:
An information processing apparatus 10 is provided with: a reception unit 111 that receives operation information according to a cursor operation by a user U who moves a cursor CUR; a control unit 112 that causes a display device 20 to display the cursor CUR on the basis of the operation information; and a calculation unit 114 that, when the operation information indicates that the cursor CUR located at one item image GI among a plurality of item images GI-1 to GI-9 is to be moved in a direction toward another item image adjacent to the one item image, calculates the disposition density of the item images arranged, from the one item image, in the direction in which the cursor CUR is movable. As the disposition density calculated by the calculation unit 114 becomes higher, the control unit 112 sets, to be small in a range of not less than a predetermined lower limit value, an operation amount of the cursor operation necessary for the user to move the cursor CUR from the one item image to the other item image.
