Abstract:
The purpose of the present disclosure is to provide an information processing apparatus which can, without being provided with dedicated hardware, reduce jitter due to an operating system in accordance with an application execution state. An information processing apparatus according to the present disclosure is provided with: a calculation device including a plurality of processor cores; and an operating system. The operating system is provided with: an OS jitter statistic information acquisition unit that acquires OS jitter statistic information of the operating system; an OS jitter statistic information table in which an OS jitter level associated with the OS jitter statistic information is prescribed; an input value acquisition unit that acquires an input value of an application; a calculation load table in which a calculation load level associated with the input value is prescribed; and a bare metal necessity determination unit that determines whether or not it is necessary to execute a processing block in a bare metal environment where the operating system is not executed, on the basis of the OS jitter level and the calculation load level.
