Abstract:
When shifting an image to avoid overlapping with a finishing process, there has been a risk that a shift amount for avoiding the overlapping becomes large, so that a desired layout result cannot be obtained. When not shifting the image to obtain the desired layout result, there has been a risk that toner peeling occurs due to overlapping between the image and the finishing process. When it is determined that a position at which a finishing process is executed is overlapped with a region in which content data is arranged, an avoidance region to which printing is not applied is arranged at a position where the position at which the finishing process is executed and the region in which the content data is arranged are overlapped with each other, without changing the position and the size of the region in which the content data is arranged.
